The We Care program is a program based at the Greenville Community Shelter
It is a program geared to helping people who temporarily live inside the shelter, live in the community, are homeless, and those formerly incarcerated
We offer resource trainings and workshops at the Sheppard Memorial Library and provide the following list of services:
- Housing Services through Greenville Housing Authority
- Job Placement with various agencies
- Veteran assistance through various programs
- Disability assistance through Disability Advocate Resources
- Legal Aid assistance through the Legal Aide department
- Emergency food assistance at various pantries
Intake on resources, job opportunities, and Housing assistance services, will be offered on Tuesdays from 8:30am -9:30am at the Greenville Community Shelter located at 207 Manhattan Avenue.
PITT Community College will also offer the Pitt HRD program on various days throughout the month to the community

The 2020 Toys for Tots Campaign for Pitt County will be set up as follows due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Safety precautions must be taken during this year’s campaign. Therefore, all toys will be purchased through us from the Toys for Tots distribution centers, monetary donations can be accepted from the community beginning October 5, 2020 through November 30, 2020. Checks or money orders can be sent to our PO box: P.O. Box 31045, Greenville, NC 27833. Checks and Money orders must be made out to Toys for Tots. If you like to collect toys for 2020 campaign contact Rev Rodney Coles 252 717-9600 or email toysfortots2014@gmail.com
